Here are 11 dogs looking for patient adopters to give them their new homes. Calling all dog lovers! up to our TeamDogs newsletter for your weekly dose of dog news, pictures and stories. Greenacres Rescue and Animal Rescue Cymru in Haverfordwest are working hard to rehabilitate rescue dogs ready for you to rehome them. They are looking for patient and loving owners for the dogs, many of whom have not had the easiest starts to life. They need adopters who will make their rescue dogs the centre of their worlds, and devote time to get to know their quirks and needs.

From three unclaimed strays, to a chubby Jack Russell Terrier - fondly called Tubby - all the dogs below have individual requirements. Through positive reinforcement and the bond built between Kim and Greenacres, she has become more happy and relaxed. She is looking for a sensible and patient home with no pressure so she can relax at her own pace. Kim could only be with older children or adults, and is selective with dogs. Meetings would be arranged pre-adoption with other dogs to gauge compatibility. Tubby is a real comical character who will be a big character in any home.

He came into the care of Greenacres after his owner's health declined and was no longer able to look after him. Tubby is looking for a home with terrier experience.

He has lived with other dogs before, but should not be rehomed with cats or other small animals. Children over 10 are fine. He has lived with both dogs and children so will fit into most families. This sociable chap would be the perfect friend to someone after a bit of company.

Little is known of Bruce's past, but the rescue home believe he could be a German Shepherd crossbreed. He arrived at Greenacres worried and scared of the world, and has gradually built up confidence. He needs a patient home who will take their time to teach Bruce he is safe and can relax. This will have to be done gradually as he is still fearful of strangers. Joey came to Greenacres as an unclaimed stray - brought in by a local authority dog warden and never claimed by an owner.

Joey will need a pet free home as he struggles to socialise with dogs or cats, however he is friendly and calm, and takes well to training. Teenagers or an adult only home is preferred. Fletch was another unclaimed stray taken in by Greenacres Animal Rescue.

Although his history is unknown he is sweet and friendly so will make a good pet. He gets on well with dogs but will need a cat free home. His adopter will have to be patient while Fletch comes out of his shell.

Marley is an older gentleman, although he does not look it! He is very easy going, walks well on a lead and is calm and friendly with everyone and other animals. He has ly lived with cats and children, but Greenacres would prefer for him to be adopted by an older person or couple to enjoy his twilight years. Archie was also an unclaimed stray, but Greenacres have guessed that he is around six-years-old and a cross between a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a Wirehaired Pointer.

He is athletic, charismatic and excitable. He can come across as reserved when you first meet him, but once he warms up to you, he is almost over the top! He needs boundaries setting in a loving way but responds well to training.

She has a tendency to guard her home and will bark at passers-by, so would prefer a rural location. She should go into an adult-only home without other animals in a rural location with room to run and play. She can be unpredictable on walks and around other dogs so should wear a muzzle in public places. Tizzy is a friendly girl looking for a home with lots of time for her to exercise and play.
