The body of Christina Malley was discovered inside a property in Cove, Aberdeen last Thursday after she failed to show up for her Covid vaccination. It is understood that her husband claimed his wife was abroad when asked where she was. Police have launched an investigation into the 'unexplained' death, and reports claim Mrs Malley's body may have been in the house for 'several years' before she was found. Those who live nearby today explained they did not even know the woman's husband had a partner. One neighbour, who has lived in the area for 22 years, said: 'I've never known him to have a wife or partner. You only ever see him. It's all very sad. A spokesperson said: 'Officers were called to an address in Allison Close, Aberdeen, on Thursday, February 25, after the body of a woman was found within. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. Following the discovery of the body on February 25, forensic officers were seen entering the property the woman had shared with her husband. Alex Nicoll, of Aberdeen City Council, today shared his sympathies with the family involved, while charity Age Scotland urged Britons to check in with their elderly neighbours.
Mr Nicoll said: 'This is very, very sad, not only for the person involved but also for the family and friends who will be affected.
