She has been a staunch advocate for those impacted by water crises nationwide and worked extensively in response to devastating natural disasters such as Hurricane Irma, Hurricane Michael, and Hurricane Dorian.
Metayer believes in making Coral Springs a leader in sustainability and resiliency with new initiatives that will address and mitigate the escalating consequence of climate change within our city. Furthermore, she believes in supporting small businesses and sees tremendous opportunities to expand the scope of community industries — including solar manufacturing, the introduction of tech hubs and more. Embracing the core values imparted on her from a young age — community service, philanthropy and stewardship, Metayer seeks to bring these to bear in her role as Coral Springs Commissioner.
